August 1 | 12–2 PM Celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday with a full day of family-friendly fun at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. The Colorado Day celebration features live music, food trucks, activities, birthday cake, and a strong lineup of performers, including the Ian Ferguson Family Band, The Falconaires from the United States Air Force Academy Band, and Poole and the Gang featuring Gina Leslie. Poole and the Gang brings a lively mix of New Orleans groove, vintage soul, swing, funk, and danceable party music, with special guest Gina Leslie adding her warm, rootsy sound as a New Orleans-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Her folk, country, jazz, and Americana influences bring storytelling, personality, and heart to the show. A great Colorado Day outing for families, music lovers, history fans, and anyone who believes birthday cake belongs at a museum celebration.
